Gig Talk

I'm just in a weird funk today. Best to stay positive, so instead of talking about how nervous I am about gigging, I'll mention how beautiful it is outside. The sun is shining and it finally feels like spring! Take that winter!!

How are things in your world?

  1. When's your first gig coming up? Amy, your voice is beautiful - they'll love you! All the best!

  2. Good luck! I hate gigs, that's why I gave up! Really bad stage fight. Too horrible to words!

  3. Just keep thinking about what a beautiful, talented person you are.

You are woman, lets hear you roar!

  4. Molly- It's next week on Monday. I hope so!

Jessica- You have a beautiful voice, but I do know how you feel. Maybe someday you'll be able to get out there again. I have this feeling you are probably a great music performer (as well as writer), but again, it's easier said than done.

Starting Over- I'll try! Thank you : )

  5. Amy, the only gig I ever played was at a school for handicapped children. Before the gig itself, the headmaster asked us to play along to some hymns in a short religious service. We only knew how to play a few Buddy Holly, Gene Vincent, and Eddie Cochrane songs, so we made complete fools of ourselves!!!
